Job summary

Mulleris, part of a well-known international dairy company, is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for full-time temporary roles at our Raunds (Wellingborough) depot. The job involves shop deliveries and trunking to NDCs/RDCs with immediate starts after assessment and induction.

Shifts include a 5 on/2 off pattern over the weekend with a 3am start. Day and night pay rates are listed, with weekend premiums and bank holiday rates. A start is available immediately for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months Class 1 driving experience required.
• UK driving licence with Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC card, no more than 6 points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Drive within WTD and EU regs.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Carrying out vehicle checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi-drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual handling of trolleys.
• Maintain the highest levels of customer service on the round and orders fulfilled on time.

We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers forfull time temporaryroles in our depot inRaunds (Wellingborough)The role consists ofshop deliveries as well as trunking to NDCs, RDCs Mulleris part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.

Immediate starts for successful candidatesafter passing assessment and induction.

Shifts patterns available

• 5on2off over the weekend with 3am start

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £17.30 (overtime after 47.5hrs £19.46)
• Saturday £19.46
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £25.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.77 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.92)
• Saturday £21.92
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.41

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
