Job summary
Rapier is recruiting HGV 1 Drivers for a well-established operation in Wellingborough. You will earn £22.00 per hour plus holiday pay and have regular overtime with a clear temp-to-perm path.
The role includes multi-drop deliveries, daily vehicle checks, and maintaining professional customer service at delivery points. Full training and a supportive management team are provided.
Qualifications
- Valid HGV 1 / Category C+E licence.
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Reliable and professional approach.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Good communication skills.
- Positive attitude and good customer service.
- Previous multi-drop experience is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Safely operating a HGV 1 or HGV 2 vehicle.
- Completing multi-drop deliveries using cages.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
- Completing required paperwork and delivery documentation.
- Providing professional customer service at delivery points.
- Following all company, driver and compliance procedures.
