Job summary

Pertemps Swindon are recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our distribution client in West Swindon, SN5. Temporary to Permanent opportunity with immediate start. Monday-Friday, typical start times between 4am and 6am. £15.86 per hour.

As a driver you will safely operate HGV Category C vehicles to deliveries to customers, provide excellent customer service, and handle cash on some deliveries. You may be a key holder for premises access.

Qualifications

• Current valid UK Category C driving licence.
• Experience delivering customer goods.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills.
• Good communication with staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Category C vehicles to deliver items to customers
• Provide excellent customer service when customer facing
• Be a key holder to securely open and close some premises
• Handle cash on some deliveries to settle invoices
• Deliver products to customers premises by hand and/or by using MHE
