Job summary

Drivers Direct in Swindon is recruiting for HGV class 2 drivers. Roles include days and nights with overtime at weekends. A minimum of 6 months experience is required and you must hold an HGV class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital tacho card.

Shifts are varied with 8- or 12-hour durations, full-time or part-time options available to suit your needs.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 experience required (Cat C).
• Driver CPC (Driver qualification card) required.
• Digital tachograph card required.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Clean driving record with limited penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report as per procedures.
• Ensure deliveries and collections follow company procedures.
• Deliver and collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• Complete all work-related paperwork at the end of the shift.

Our Swindon Depot is currently Recruiting for HGV class 2 Drivers.

Monday - Friday work available, plus overtime at weekends if wanted.

You must have HGV class 2 Licence, Digital Taco Card, and Drivers CPC (drivers qualification card).

We have many different start time, Days or nights, Full time or part time, Whatever you are looking for we can accommodate.

MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE

Hours of work:

• Days Shifts/ Night Shifts
• 8hr - 12hr shifts

Salary:

• £17.00 per hour

The Role:

• Working for a local wholesale in the area
• 4-10 drops a day
• Delivering Products
• Delivering to businesses,

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures.
• Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
• To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
• To complete all work-related paperwork in full and hand it in at the end of the shift.

Essential Skills:

• MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE
• Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence.
• Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card.
• Must hold a valid Digital tacho card.
• Good communication skills.
• Good customer relations.
• Have a safe driving record.
• No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations.
• No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.
