Job summary

Pertemps Swindon are recruiting for HGV Drivers Class 1 to join a leading distribution client in Swindon, SN3, delivering to retail stores and depots. PM starts from 15:00–18:00 with weekend shifts available (Friday to Monday).

You will safely operate HGV Class 1 lorries, provide excellent customer service, and comply with road traffic laws while assisting with unloading at delivery points. This temporary role offers guaranteed hours and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Current valid UK C+E driving licence, with no more than 5 points.
• Previous, recent experience of more than 2 years of driving HGV Class 1 trucks.
• Proven customer service skills when delivering to customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 lorries to deliver retail items.
• Provide excellent customer service when delivering to retail stores and internal depots.
• Adhere to all road traffic and driving legislations at all times.

£17.74 per hour, guaranteed minimum 8 hours, enhanced rates after 8pm
About the HGV Drivers Class 1 Job

As an experienced HGV Drivers Class 1, you will need the following skills and/or experience:
