Job summary

CLASS 2 HAYDOCK is seeking reliable drivers for pallet network deliveries across the North West. Expect 7–12 drops per shift with handballing to load/unload using provided equipment. PAYE hourly rates with the option to accrue or pot holiday pay.

Rates shown: £16.00–£17.93/hr (days), £17.00–£19.05/hr (nights), £18.00–£20.17/hr (Sat/Sun/Bank Hol). Applicants should hold a C&E licence, CPC, and meet the points and hours rules.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence with at least 6 months in C&E work.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• DCPC card (Driver CPC) valid.
• Good working knowledge of EU driver hours and WTR rules.
• Health and safety awareness and ability to work with stores teams.

Responsibilities

• Make 7–12 drops per shift to various workplaces for pallet network deliveries.
• Load and unload as needed using provided equipment (handballing).
• Maintain professional conduct with stores and clients during deliveries.

CLASS 2 HAYDOCK

Our client is part of a pallet network and needs reliable class 2 drivers who can make deliveries across the North West.

Making approx. 7-12 drops per shift delivering to a variety of workplaces to either drop off or collect loads on behalf of the pallet network. There is a degree of handballing to ensure you can load and unload as needed using the equipment provided.

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.

£16.00 or £17.93 inc hol pay M-F Days

£17.00 or £19.05 inc hol pay M-F Night

£18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay Sat

£18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

Here is what the clients’ criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores
• Health & Safety awareness
