Job summary

Adapt Logistics is seeking professional drivers to deliver and collect goods with curtainsider trailers from Haydock. You will handle palletised loads and may need to operate a PPT. Expect varied daily routes and around 10-hour shifts with day or night work.

Very competitive hourly PAYE rates are offered, with options for holiday pay within the hourly rate or a holiday pot. Training and compliance with EU hours/WTR rules are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (min 6 months in C&E work).
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• DCPC valid card for driver CPC.
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Enjoy working with people at stores.
• Health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

Job description

CLASS 1 HAYDOCK

Our client is looking for professional drivers to deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer. Moving palletised goods (will need to operate a PPT). They work with many well-known retailers and brands that you will be familiar with. This job can offer a variety to each day with different routes, type of deliveries. Approx 10 hour shifts

Day & Night Work available

• £17.00 or £19.05 inc hol pay M-F Days
• £18.00 or £20.17 inc hol pay M-F Night
• £19.50 or £21.85 inc hol pay Sat
• £21.00 or £23.53 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

• Min 8 hours per shift (45 min break deducted over 8 hrs)

Here is what the clients’ criteria is to work here:-

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)

• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
