Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable Class 2 drivers for Haydock with 06:30 start times and 55-week pay basis. The role includes multi-drop deliveries, safety checks, and paperwork. Training is provided; temp-to-perm opportunities exist. Shifts up to 12 hours with 10+ paid hours per shift.

Weekly pay is competitive with holiday pay included. Applicants must hold a Class 2 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and have 12 months of Class 2 experience. ADR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A min of 12 months previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• ADR/LQ work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 HGV vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Perform a variety of transport tasks including palletised deliveries.
• Ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods to destinations.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital logs promptly.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report issues.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

HGV Class 2 Drivers – Haydock

Pay Rates: Including holiday pay Days

Class 2 Day Driver

• Hours: 06:30 – 16:30 approximately
• Rate: £17.93 per hour
• Multi drop deliveries and associated Class 2 driving duties
• Full training/induction provided as required
• Based on a 55 week inclusive of breaks.

***Estimated weekly pay £986.15 based on 55 hrs***

Class 2 Day Driver (Ad hoc)

• We also require drivers for ad hoc shifts to earn extra money to work 1-3 days a week.
• 10 – 12 hour shifts

The role

• Safely operate Class 2 HGV vehicles for scheduled deliveries and collections.
• Perform a variety of transport tasks, ranging from general haulage to Pallet Track deliveries/collections.
• Ensure the timely and accurate transportation of goods to their destinations.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital logs accurately and promptly.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and promptly report any issues identified.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.
• Length of shift is up to 12 hours.
• Start times 06:30
• Palatalised stock delivery
• temp-to-perm work
• Minimum 10 hours paid per shift

Requirements

You must have:

• Valid Class 2 (C+E/C) licence
