Job summary

Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd in Hereford is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for day shifts on ongoing work. You will handle pallet-network deliveries, maintain compliance with drivers’ hours regulations, and keep precise delivery logs.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and Tachograph card, minimal penalty points, and reliability to cover short-notice shifts. Weekly pay and consistent work are provided.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card must be valid.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DR/DD/IN endorsements.

Job Type: 5 days per week - Ongoing work

Pay Rate: £16.81 per hour

Job Overview

We are currently seeking professional HGV Class 2 Days for our client based in Hereford for ongoing work. This is Pallet Network and you must have experience of doing this type of work before.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled deliveries and collections as required
• Ensuring vehicles are operated safely and within legal compliance
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery logs
• Representing the company and clients in a professional manner

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence, hald for at least 12 months
• Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
• A good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations
• Reliability and flexibility to accept short-notice shiftsMin 6 months Class 2 driving experience needed
