Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (UK) Plc in Reading is seeking experienced LGV drivers to join our fleet delivering essential services across local communities.

You will perform pre-trip checks, use onboard systems, and maintain safety and cleanliness, with access to pension, health resources, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 2 Licence and a valid CPC/DIGI card.
• Ability to operate in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and loading into truck.
• Completing daily vehicle checks as per operator handbook.
• Using onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Complying with traffic laws and securing loads appropriately.
• Maintaining clean carriageways and cleaning spills as needed.

• Driving to planned collection locations and loading into truck

• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including security and weight of loads
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up
