Job summary

Jewson Ltd is seeking an Area HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Rotherham team. You will deliver building materials to customers, load and unload goods, and operate a vehicle-mounted crane as part of a dynamic delivery crew.

The role covers a cluster of branches (Sheffield, Barnsley) with area duties and progression opportunities within STARK Building Materials UK. A valid HGV 2 license, CPC and Digi Tachograph are required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (Category C).
• CPC card and Digi Tachograph card.
• ALLMI crane licence and HIAB training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely and professionally.
• Load, unload, and operate the crane as required.
• Cover a designated area and support branch delivery clusters.
• Assist team members and maintain customer service standards.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we'll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you'll do, to where you will be delivering. You'll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area.

You will be assigned to our Jewson Rotherham branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.

These branches are; Sheffield and Barnsley

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it's not a necessity
