Job summary

Driver Hire Perth is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a local electrical waste company. You will conduct electrical waste collections across Scotland, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety standards.

The role involves manual handling and a proactive approach to loading and unloading waste materials. The position offers an immediate start with Monday to Friday shifts, 06:00 starts, and a minimum of 8 hours per shift.

Qualifications

• Category C entitlement and valid UK licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph are required.
• At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical waste collections across Scotland.
• Ensure safe loading and compliance with waste handling procedures.

Job description

Driver Hire Perth are looking for a reliable and hard-working HGV Class 2 Driver to join a local electrical waste company. You'll be handling electrical waste collections across Scotland. If you like to keep fit at work then this role would be perfect as there is a level of manual handling required!

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will need:

• Category C entitlement on your UK driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
• At least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience

In return, the Class 2 HGV Driver can expect:

• Hourly pay of £17.37 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
• Monday to Friday shifts
• Minimum 8 hours per shift
• 06:00 start
• Immediate start
