Job summary

Booker Group is hiring a delivery driver to service local customers from Kirby Liverpool. You will drive 45 hours per week on an Any 5 from 7 shift, loading at the branch, delivering to customer premises, and handling paperwork with care.

You will build relationships with regular customers, work to schedule, and contribute to on-time deliveries while representing Booker’s service standards.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence required.
• Previous driving experience of at least two years.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy level.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Drive locally and maintain relationships with regular customers.
• Support in keeping customers' shelves stocked.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. Working 45 hours per week you will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

Working on an “Any 5 from 7” contract, our shift patterns will include some weekend working.

Main Responsibilities

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

You will need

CatC / 18T Licence

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
