Job summary

Unify is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver to join our equipment hire team in Ashby De La Zouch. You will deliver and collect machinery from customer sites, ensure safety checks, and maintain excellent customer service while complying with transport regulations.

The role offers permanent hours with early starts and flexibility, 47.5 hours per week, and opportunities for overtime. You will work under a reputable, growth-focused company in the Derbyshire area.

Qualifications

• You must hold a HGV Class 2 Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards are essential.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and upkeep.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Great understanding of transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of hire machinery to and from customer sites.
• Load, secure and unload machinery in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Handover of machinery while following company code of practice.
• Comply with legislation regarding vehicle safety, company policies and health & safety.
• Daily completion of vehicle checks, keeping the vehicle in good working condition and clean.
• Effectively manage own working time to deliver and collect powered access in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide outstanding customer service.

What do I need?
