Veolia in Camden is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver on a 39‑hour week with shifts from 2pm to 10pm. The role offers 20 days' annual leave (rising to 26), a pension, product discounts, and health resources.

You will drive 18t/7.5t/12t vehicles as needed and play a key role in safe waste collection for local communities. Benefits include volunteering day, ongoing training, and access to Veolia’s wellbeing and financial support programs.

Formación

• Must hold a full valid driving licence.
• Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of basic English.

Responsabilidades

• Drive HGV vehicles such as 18t Dust Cart, 7.5t Cage, or 12t Scarab as required.
• Ensure any waste spillages are cleared at collection to leave site litter-free.
• Comply with site rules and Health & Safety procedures on entry.
• Comply with road traffic legislation including parking restrictions and load weights.
• End of shift: leave tipper empty, cab clean and clear of litter.
• Assist with loading bins and containers when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per the driver operator handbook.

Hours: 39 hours weekly ( shift time is 2pm - 10pm)

What You'll be doing:

• Will be driving HGV Vehicles such as 18t Dust Cast, 7.5t Cage or 12t Scarab depending on business needs for the day/week.
• Ensure that any spillage of waste is cleared at the time of collection to leave the site litter free
• When entering premises, comply with any site rules and Health & Safety procedures
• Comply with all road traffic legislation in relation to your duties including parking restriction, security and weight of loads. The Company operates a zero tolerance on overweight vehicles.
• At the end of the shift, ensure that the tipper is left empty and that the cab is clean and clear of litter, uniform and personal effects.
• Helping out loading bins & containers when required.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook.

What we're looking for:

Essential:

• Full valid driving licence
• Previous Class 2 experience
• Fully up to date Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of basic English

Desirable:

• Waste experience
