Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for Cowhorn Hill, Barrs Court, South Gloucester (BS30 8BT). Day shifts, immediate starts, 45-hour week with competitive weekly pay.

You will work in a small team on residential refuse collections, with multi-drop runs and start times around 06:15, Monday to Friday. Temp-to-perm opportunity and regular shifts with pension and 24/7 support from the team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence valid in the UK.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• New Pass welcome for opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Refuse and waste collections in residential areas.
• Work in a small team (driver + loaders) and tip vehicle.
• Carry out multi-drop collections with a Class 2 vehicle.
• Typical shift length 8–10 hours and 06:15 starts.
• Temp to perm opportunity.

Experienced Driver (1 Year Minimum Experience) Pay Rates: holiday pay is accrued

• Days £22.00
• Saturday £33.00
• Sunday £44.00
• Overtime £33.00

***Estimated weekly pay £990 based on 45 hrs***

The role

• Refuse and Waste Collections within residential Areas.
• Working in a team of 3 (1 driver, 2 loaders) collecting residential waste & tipping vehicle.
• HGV Class 2 driver must Carry out multi-drop collections.
• Average shift length 8-10hrs
• Monday-Friday - Start times 06:15
• Temp to Perm opportunity

Requirements

You must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• New Pass Welcome
• Higher Rates for drivers with Minimum 1 year driving experience
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
• A reliable and professional approach
