Job summary

Simple Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver for roles based in Farnham, GU9. The role involves operating a dustcart and collecting refuse across local sites with Monday to Friday shifts from 6.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Benefits include immediate start, potential temp-to-perm progression, and holiday pay. A £250 bonus after 4 weeks and another £250 after 8 weeks is offered for driving duties.

Qualifications

• UK HGV Class 2 driving licence (minimum 12 months)
• Digital tachograph card and CPC card
• Good team working skills and good communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorry
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
• Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely

Successful candidates may be assigned to various sites within the area.
