Job summary

The Staffing Network is seeking a HGV Class 2 driver to join our busy Oxford client team. You will drive and operate a Class 2 refuse vehicle, perform daily checks, and ensure safety procedures while assisting loaders on planned routes.

This role starts ASAP with weekly pay, guaranteed hours, ongoing work, and temp-to-perm opportunities, plus immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• This role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card are required.
• Minimum 90 days recent Class 2 driving experience.
• Waste industry experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle.
• Carry out residential and commercial waste collections.
• Work with loaders on planned routes.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and drive safely.

Job description

The Staffing Network is looking for Class 2 drivers for our busy client based in Oxford.

The Role

• Driving and operating a HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle
• Residential and commercial waste collections
• Working alongside loaders on planned routes
• Daily vehicle checks and safe vehicle operation
• Following transport and health & safety procedures

This role is an ASAP start.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour
• Saturday: £23.94 per hour
• Sunday: £27.00 per hour

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday

Drivers must be flexible to work:

• AM Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm
• PM Shift: 12:30pm - 7:00pm

(Shifts are planned in advance.)

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
• Minimum 90 days recent Class 2 driving experience
• Reliable and flexible attitude
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential
