Job summary

White Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a permanent role in Southampton. The position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week, with overtime and weekend work available, and a competitive salary around £32,240 per annum plus overtime.

Responsibilities include driving Class 2 vehicles, loading/unloading, completing logs and paperwork, and delivering excellent customer service on site in Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's CPC and at least 2 years' experience.
• Cat 2 licence held with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Experience in waste management or skip hire is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Class 2 vehicles as required.
• Operate LGV Class vehicles on call-outs and prearranged jobs across Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex.
• Loading and unloading goods, completing all paperwork and logbooks accurately.
• Engage with customers on site and provide friendly, high-quality service.
