The Best Connection Employment Group is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver in Andover to deliver steel products across locations. This is a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity starting at day one, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Salary is £32,250 per annum with time-and-a-half overtime, Monday to Friday work and 05:00 starts. Applicants must hold a valid Category C licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card, and be able to pass a drug/alcohol test.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle, delivering steel products to various locations.
• Secure loads safely using chains and other appropriate equipment.
• Carry out thorough pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections, including tyre pressures, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and instructions accurately.
• Communicate professionally with the transport office, dispatchers and colleagues to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures.

Our client is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team, delivering steel products to various locations.

This is an excellent opportunity offering a 12-week temp-to-perm position from day one, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

Further Information:

• Annual Salary: £32,250 per annum
• Overtime Rate: Time and a half
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 05:00 start until finished (day shifts)
• Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
