Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers across the UK. This ongoing opportunity offers excellent earning potential with temp-to-perm options for the right drivers. You will drive pre-loaded vehicles, ensure loads are secured, and complete delivery paperwork.

Minimum 8-hour shifts on weekdays with overtime after 8 hours. Valid Class 2 licence required; must understand UK drivers’ hours and work well alone. Ongoing work through 2026 with CPC training available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Commitment to shifts/rotas and reliability.
• Ability to work safely alone and manage time effectively.
• Good understanding of UK drivers' hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pre-loaded vehicles for delivery.
• Ensure load is safe and secure, including strapping down loads.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Perform vehicle checks and report issues.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers with our global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is an

ongoing opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects. Temp to perm opportunities are available for the right drivers.

About the Role

HGV Class 2 (C) Drivers - Main duties and requirements are:

• Pre-loaded vehicles


• Ensuring your load is safe and secure including strapping down loads


• Completion of delivery paperwork


• Maximum 6 points accepted (No DD/ DR / CD / IN10 offences)


• Vehicle checks

Working Hours

• Minimum 8-hour shifts


• Weekdays only

Pay

£16.28 per hour - £18.29 Overtime after 8 hours per shift

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
