Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a HGV Class 2 driver based in Doncaster for a permanent role. The position covers 45 hours per week on a two-shift pattern: 2am-11am and 1pm-10pm, Monday to Friday. The advertised pay is £14.30 per hour (about £33,400 per year).

You will service local customers, perform wheelie-bin collections, and complete necessary paperwork. Requirements include a full, clean HGV Class C licence, Driver CPC, a Digital Tachograph Driver Card, and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Hold a full, clean HGV Class C driving licence.
• Multi-Drop experience is advantageous.
• Be presentable, professional, and personable.
• Demonstrate understanding of EU Rules and Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Hold your Driver CPC.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• DBS check completion required.

Responsibilities

• The collection and exchange of 240ltr wheelie bins from Customers' premises, containing waste.
• Manual handling.
• Returning the wheelie bins to the Doncaster site and offloading the material into the correct locations.
• Completion of all required documentation.
• Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean, undertaking required vehicle checks.
• Act as an ambassador on behalf of the business, ensuring courteous and respectful customer treatment.
• Use an electronic PDA in line with internal system requirements.

Our Doncaster based client is looking for HGV Class 2 driver to service their local customers.

Duties of a HGV Class 2 driver include:

• The collection and exchange of 240ltr wheelie bins from Customers' premises, containing waste.
• Manual handling
• Returning the wheelie bins to the Doncaster site and offloading the material into the correct locations.
• Completion of all required documentation.
• Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean, undertaking required vehicle checks.
• To act as an ambassador on behalf of the business, ensuring that the customer is treated courteously and respectfully.
• Use an electronic PDA in accordance with internal system requirements.

To be considered for the HGV Class 2 driver you will need:

• Hold a full, clean HGV Class C Driving licence.
• Multi-Drop experience is advantageous
• Be presentable, professional, and personable
• Demonstrate their understanding of EU Rules and WTD.
• Hold their Driver CPC.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• The successful completion of a DBS check is required
