Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver for our Doncaster based client. This permanent role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts from 2am to 11am and 1pm to 10pm.

The role includes collecting and exchanging 240-litre wheelie bins, manual handling, completing all required documentation, and ensuring the vehicle is well maintained. You will also act as an ambassador for the business, providing courteous service and using a PDA system.

Qualifications

• Full, clean HGV Class C driving licence is essential.
• Multi-Drop experience is advantageous.
• Be presentable, professional and personable.

Responsibilities

• The collection and exchange of 240ltr wheelie bins from Customers' premises, containing waste.
• Manual handling.
• Returning the wheelie bins to the Doncaster site and offloading the material into the correct locations.
• Completion of all required documentation.
• Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean, undertaking required vehicle checks.
• To act as an ambassador on behalf of the business, ensuring that the customer is treated courteously and respectfully.
• Use an electronic PDA in accordance with internal system requirements.

HGV Class 2

Doncaster, Permanent

45 hours per week Monday to Friday. Shifts are 2am - 11am & 1pm - 10pm

£14.30 per hour (£33,400.00 per annum)

Our Doncaster based client is looking for HGV Class 2 driver to service their local customers.

Duties of a HGV Class 2 driver include:

• The collection and exchange of 240ltr wheelie bins from Customers' premises, containing waste.
• Manual handling
• Returning the wheelie bins to the Doncaster site and offloading the material into the correct locations.
• Completion of all required documentation.
• Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained and clean, undertaking required vehicle checks.
• To act as an ambassador on behalf of the business, ensuring that the customer is treated courteously and respectfully.
• Use an electronic PDA in accordance with internal system requirements.

To be considered for the HGV Class 2 driver you will need:

• Hold a full, clean HGV Class C Driving licence.
• Multi-Drop experience is advantageous
• Be presentable, professional, and personable
• Demonstrate their understanding of EU Rules and WTD.
• Hold their Driver CPC.
• Hold a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• The successful completion of a DBS check is required
