Job summary

Jewson Hammersmith is seeking an Area HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB training to deliver/building materials across a defined cluster of branches. You will operate the crane, load/unload, and provide excellent service to customers.

The role covers multiple branches (Acton, Lambeth, Ruislip & Wembley) and includes travel allowances; induction and ongoing CPC training are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Multidrop experience is handy but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials to customers safely with a professional approach.
• Load and unload goods; operate crane when required.
• Support team members and cover designated area when needed.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

As an Area driver you will be required to cover absence within a designated area.

You will be assigned to our Jewson Hammersmith branch and required to cover a cluster of branches.

These branches are; Acton , Lambeth, Ruislip & Wembley

You will be paid travel and subsistence.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
