Job summary

STARK Group's Jewson Barnstaple is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our delivery team. You will safely deliver building materials to customer sites, present a professional image and help support colleagues as needed.

The role includes loading and unloading, operating a vehicle-mounted crane (HIAB), and completing multi-drop runs when required. We provide a fully funded induction and ongoing training, with career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C).
• CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card are required.
• Multidrop experience is handy but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely to customer sites with a professional approach.
• Load and unload, operate the crane, and support team members as needed.
• Handle varied daily drops and maintain a positive customer experience.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
