Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers (Cat C) to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 08:00am start.

Location: Carlisle, CA3. Job Type: Temporary with the potential for ongoing work. The role involves securely moving palletised parcels, 10 bulk deliveries and collections on return, and a focus on safe driving and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C entitlement.
• 6 months experience.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Move palletised parcels securely during deliveries.
• Perform 10 bulk deliveries and collections on return.
• Maintain safe driving and accurate paperwork.
• Assist with loading/unloading of roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Pay Rate: £14.85 per hour however, additional hours will be added on top of timesheet.

Location: Carlisle, CA3

Job Type: Temporary with the potential for ongoing work

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels - mail delivery.
• 10 bulk deliveries and collections on return
• Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with C entitlement (Class 2).
• 6 months experience required
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
