Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver for ongoing permanent vacancies across the UK. You will operate a Category C vehicle, complete up to 8 collections or deliveries per shift to hotel chains, with tail lift and caged goods, and you will be paid £16.97 per hour PAYE with 28 days’ holiday pro rata.

Job Description

£16.97 per hour PAYE for HGV2 work available immediately. Weekly pay 4 on, 4 off.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing up to 8 collections or deliveries per shift to hotel chains across the UK. This role involves minimal manual handling; however, you must be comfortable working with caged goods and operating a tail lift.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Complete up to 8 collections or deliveries per shift.
• Load and unload caged goods using a tail lift where required.
• Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and comply with all road transport and health & safety regulations.

Duration: Ongoing with permanent contracts up for grabs.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £16.97 per hour PAYE with 28 days of holiday pro rata. Please Please note - we do not offer Visa Sponsorships.

Working Hours: You will be working 4 on 2 off with extra days also available for those who are happy with additional shifts. Start times are usually 4am with a shift averaging between 9 - 12 hours.
