Job summary

Freeway Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 (HGV C) Driver for a temporary role with day shifts, starting at 07:00 or 08:00. The position involves regional depot duties with 10–12 drops per day and a typical 8-hour shift with minimum 8 hours pay.

You will manage PPT unloading, tail lift deliveries, and load securing with curtain-side trailers. A valid Class 2 licence (12+ months), a tachograph card, and current CPC qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Full and valid Class 2 licence held for at least 12 months
• Tacho card in date and valid CPC qualification with card
• No more than 6 points with no DR/DD/IN/CD endorsements

Responsibilities

• Regional multi-drop deliveries (10–12 drops per day on average)
• Unloading using Palletised Pump Truck (PPT) and tail lift deliveries
• Load securing with curtain-side vehicles and ratchet straps

Role: Class 2 (HGV C) Driver

Description:

Working for a leading national supplier in their field, drivers will be working for our clients regional depot

Regional Multi Drop, 10-12 per day on average. Drivers usually finish run within 8hrs or before, minimum 8 hours pay applies.

Drivers must be familiar with safe operating of Palletised Pump Truck (PPT) unloading as well as Tail Lift Deliveries. Some deliveries require Driver to manually unload stock and must be familiar and physically fit enough to carry out the requirements of the role

Drivers must be familiar with Curtain side vehicles, ratchet straps and safe strapping of load and goods carried

For this role you must:

• Have a full and valid Class 2 Licence and have held this for a minimum of 12 months and have been driving consecutively for one year.
• No more than 6 points on licence with no DR , DD , IN , CD or other endorsements that lead to a ban.
• A full and valid Tacho card and an in date valid CPC Qualification with card.

Pay
