Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing temporary assignments at our Raunds depot near Wellingborough. The role involves trunking and deliveries to NDCs and RDCs, with regular work and immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shifts include day and night patterns with early starts from 3am on Thursday to Monday, and competitive pay rates. Applicants should have a UK licence with Cat C+E entitlement and CPC/Digi cards, plus parking on site.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of Class 2 driving experience.
• UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement and valid CPC/Digi card.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving within WTD and EU regs.
• Prepping and checking vehicles for delivery.
• Multi-drop trunking and RDC/Interdepot deliveries.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and on-time delivery.

We are currently recruitingHGV Class 2 Driversfor ongoing temporary assignments to join our busy depot inRaunds, Wellingborough. This role primarily involvestrunking and deliveries to NDCs and RDCs, offering regular work, competitive pay rates, and immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift Patterns Available

• Thursday to Monday start time from 3am

Day pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £15.83 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.81)
• Saturday £17.81
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.75

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £18.09 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.35)
• Saturday £20.35
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.14

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

Day to day duties will include the following:

• Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refueling vehicles.
• Multi drop deliveries.
• Interdepot and RDC deliveries.
• Manual Handling trolleys
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
• Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
• Immediate start for successful candidates
