Job summary

Freeway Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 (HGV C) Driver for a full-time role on a Day shift (Mon-Fri) starting at 07:30. The position offers a £34,216 annual salary for 47 contracted hours plus two £500 bonuses tied to safety records.

Regional multi-drop work with 8+ hours pay minimum, manual unloads occasionally, and a need for solid English communication and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Hold a full and valid Class 2 Licence with at least 12 months' experience.
• No more than 6 points and no disqualifying endorsements on the licence.
• Valid Tacho card and CPC qualification with card.

Responsibilities

• Regional multi-drop deliveries, 10-12 drops per day on average.
• Operate Palletised Pump Truck (PPT) unloading and tail lift deliveries.
• Keep vehicle clean and tidy; show professional conduct at all times.

Role: Class 2 (HGV C) Driver

Shifts - Days Mon to Fri

Start times: 0730 starts

Salary/Package: Full time -£34,216 p/a (47 hours contracted)

Bonuses - 2 x £500.00 paid bonuses paid in Jun & Dec based on Zero accidents, clean vehicle etc

Paid breaks (no break deduction from total hours worked)

Description:

Regional Multi Drop, 10-12 per day on average. Minimum 8 hours pay applies.

Drivers must be familiar with safe operating of Palletised Pump Truck (PPT) unloading as well as Tail Lift Deliveries. Some deliveries require Driver to manually unload stock and must be familiar and physically fit enough to carry out the requirements of the role

Drivers must be familiar with Curtain side vehicles, ratchet straps and safe strapping of load and goods carried

For this role you must:

• Have a full and valid Class 2 Licence and have held this for a minimum of 12 months and have been driving consecutively for one year.
• No more than 6 points on licence with no DR , DD , IN , CD or other endorsements that lead to a ban.
• A full and valid Tacho card and an in date valid CPC Qualification with card.
