Job summary

BOC Gases in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our team on a long‑term basis. You will navigate scheduled multi‑drop routes, handle dangerous goods and maintain tachograph records in line with ADR and transport regulations.

The role offers a competitive salary (£46,123 per year), regular weekday shifts with some weekend work, weekly pay, and opportunities for permanent employment and CPC development.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Current in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• ADR certificate covering Class 2 - Gases in Packages.
• Minimum 3 years with relevant licence and 180 days driving in past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles in accordance with ADR regulations and safety guidelines.
• Perform scheduled multi-drop deliveries and collections to various sites.
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Safely handle and secure gas cylinders or waste containers during loading/unloading.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and delivery documentation.
• Provide professional customer service and represent BOC Gases positively.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures during all transport activities.
