Job summary

BOC Gases in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR driver to join its national distribution network. You will deliver and collect on scheduled routes, maintaining tachograph records and adhering to ADR regulations while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The role offers a competitive salary, weekly pay, 26 days of leave plus bank holidays, and opportunities for permanent progression. Start times typically 06:00–07:00 with 8–10 hour shifts and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK HGV/LGV Class 2 licence (Cat C) and CPC.
• ADR certificate covering Class 2 - Gases in Packages is required.
• Minimum 3 years holding the relevant licence with 180 days of driving in the past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely under ADR regulations and transport dangerous goods.
• Deliver scheduled multi-drop deliveries and occasional collections.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Secure cargo and comply with manual handling safety procedures.
