Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 tramper drivers for our client in Rutland. You will stay out in your vehicle for the week, collecting and delivering orders planned for you, usually palletised goods in a Curtain sider.

Typically you return on Friday or occasionally Saturday. This role offers full-time hours with the view to a permanent contract and a competitive wage plus company benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Digi Card.
• CPC Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great road knowledge.
• Good availability to start working ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 tramper duties, staying out in vehicle all week.
• General haulage, palletised goods in Curtain sider vehicle.
• Weekly runs with Monday start around 07:00 and Friday/Saturday return.
• Potential progression towards permanent contract.

HGV Class 1 tramper drivers wanted – NEW PASS DRIVERS ACCEPTED!
Join our driving team as a Class 1 tramper driver supporting our client in Rutland. Leaving the depot on a Monday morning, you will stay out in your vehicle for the week collecting and delivering orders that will be planned out for you. All work is General haulage and usually palletised goods in a Curtain sider vehicle. You will come home on a Friday or sometimes run in on a Saturday morning occasionally. About you:
You will be a professional driver with excellent communication skills who is reliable and looking for ongoing work with the view of working in a full time permanent role.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: Full time salary of up to £35,000 plus company benefits when you start your permanent contract.

Working Hours: Your week will start on a Monday morning around 07:00 where you will then complete your runs throughout the week returning on a Friday or Saturday.
