Müller UK & Ireland in Market Drayton is hiring an Inbound LGV C+E Class 1 Tanker Driver to join our Milk and Ingredients Distribution team. You will transport milk from farms to sites within the network, with loading/reloading, on a modern, well-maintained fleet, and with no overnight stays.

The role offers full-time permanent work, a 5-on/2-off pattern, competitive hourly pay with overtime, and generous holiday plus pension and life cover.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E) required.
• CPC and digital driving card required.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• Comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
• Effective team member who can work on own initiative.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to sites within the network, including loading and reloading, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate documentation.
• Adhere to safety regulations and respect other road users.
• Complete driver and vehicle checks correctly.
• Plan routes with consideration of safety restrictions and road works.
• Serve as the interface between the business and customers in daily operations.

We are recruiting for Inbound LGV C+E Class 1 TankerDrivers at our Market Drayton Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.

This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a prestigious logistics company, driving a modern and well maintained fleet of vehicles and who are looking for flexibility in their life, we offer full time work schedules, and no overnights stays.

• Contract - Full Time / Permanent

• Location - Market Drayton (TF9 3UY)

• Shift Pattern - 5 days over 7 - Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday Night Shifts

• Rate of Pay - From £17.30 per hour - £28.42 per hour dependent on shift pattern.Overtime rate; £19.46 per hour.

Class 1 Driver Role & Responsibilities

• As an Inbound Tanker Driver, your primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport milk from farms to different sites within the network (including loading and reloading), ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with all safety and transportation regulation.
• Puts safety first and respects all other road users.
• Diligent in ensuring driver and vehicle checks are completed correctly.
• Forward thinking, route checks for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient.
• Highly professional in all situations as you are the interface between the business and our customer base.

Class 1 DriverKey Skills & Experience

• HGV Class 1 Licence (LGV Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• No more than 6 minor points on driving licence (No CDs, DDs, DRs or INs)
• Must be comfortable with the physical nature of the role.
