Job summary

Jobsworth is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver on a temp-to-perm basis in Wolverhampton. The role uses tug and tractor units for depot-to-depot and on-site shunting with Monday–Friday nights and a 19:00 start to 04:30 finish.

No nights out are required, and the role is full-time with progression to permanent employment. The rate is £21 per hour with weekly pay on Fridays and incentives available.

Job description

HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver - Temp to Perm - Night Shifts.

Jobsworth have a new temp to perm opportunity to join our expansive team of HGV Class 1 drivers.

Operating out of Wolverhampton, the role we have is full-time HGV Class 1 shunting work, using both tug and tractor units.

You will work Monday - Friday each week & the nature of the work will be depot to depot & on site shunting. No nights out, no handball involved.

Pay rate: £21ph - Weekly pay every Friday.

Shifts: Monday - Friday / 1900 starts / 0430 finish /

We are looking for experienced shunter drivers with tug unit training and a positive attitude, so as long as you have confidence in reversing trailers onto bays and have experience driving tug units you will be considered for the role.
