Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well-known client based in Rotherham for Part Time HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers. Trunking parts to depots across the UK with 1–2 drops per shift and double-manned runs; no nights out.

Flexible part-time shifts, 20:00–00:00 starts, with opportunities for temp to perm placement and ongoing work. Requires valid HGV C+E, CPC, Digi Card and 2+ years driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 2 years' driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Trunking vehicle parts to depots across the UK (depots Glasgow to Southampton).
• 1–2 drops per shift; mixture of cage work, pallets and totes.
• Use of tail lift and pump truck for unloading.
• Regular double manned runs; no nights out.

Part Time HGV Class 1 Night Drivers - Rotherham (S66)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading client based in Rotherham. We are looking for multiple Part Time HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team.

Location: Rotherham, S66

Job Type: Ongoing Part Time Work / Temp to Perm Opportunities Available

Pay Rates:

• £17.50 per hour (PAYE)
• £19.61 per hour (Rolled Up Holiday Pay)

Shift Patterns & Start Times:

• Sunday to Friday nights
• Flexible part time shifts available
• Choose from 1-4 shifts per week
• Start times between 20:00 - 00:00
• Average shift length 10 hours
• Double manned runs can be 14-15 hours

The Role:

• Trunking vehicle parts to depots across the UK (depots located from Glasgow to Southampton)
• 1-2 drops per shift
• Mixture of cage work, pallets and totes
• Use of tail lift and pump truck for unloading
• Vehicles are pre-loaded before shift start
• Regular double manned runs required
• No nights out required

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 2 years' driving experience required
• No maximum points, however only minor offences accepted (no DR/DG offences)
• Valid CPC and Digi Card
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
