Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of a well-known distribution business based in Sheffield. We are seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join the team.

Role involves trunking between hubs, up to 2 runs per night, and ensuring deliveries and paperwork are handled accurately with strict adherence to WTD regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• 6 months experience required.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences only.
• Valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking work between the client's hubs.
• Completing up to 2 runs per night.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining a professional approach at all times.

Pay Rate

• £18.00 per hour PAYE

Hours & Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday
• Around 20:00 starts
• 8-10 hour shifts
• Night work

The Role
