Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging in Avonmouth is hiring an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a regular night-time trunking route to Lytham St Anns, Lancashire, returning to Avonmouth.

You will perform nightly tailer changes, check vehicles, load and secure loads, and maintain high safety and customer service standards.

Night-time Trunking route from Avonmouth to Lytham St Anns (Lancashire)

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum + bonuses & benefits

Hours: Full time, Sunday-Thursday 19:00-05:00 hours (9-hour shift)

Driver Efficiency Bonus - earn up to £2,100 annually

Additional site/company performance bonus

Up to 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays & buy scheme)

The HGV Class 1 Driver Role

We're now looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to operate our regular night-time trunking route from our Avonmouth based distribution centre. This will involve a nightly changeover of tailers at Lytham St Ann's (in Lancashire) returning to Avonmouth, where you may be required to move other vehicles to enable loading of other vehicles.
