Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Driver for a regular night-time trunking route from Avonmouth to Lytham St Anns. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 19:00–05:00, on a 9-hour shift, with opportunities to earn bonuses and benefits.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, plus experience in multi-drop deliveries and a customer-focused, safety-conscious approach.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum + bonuses & benefits

Hours: Full time, Sunday-Thursday 19:00-05:00 hours (9-hour shift)

Driver Efficiency Bonus - earn up to £2,100 annually

Additional site/company performance bonus

The HGV Class 1 Driver Role

We're now looking for a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver to operate our regular night-time trunking route from our Avonmouth based distribution centre. This will involve a nightly changeover of tailers at Lytham St Ann's (in Lancashire) returning to Avonmouth, where you may be required to move other vehicles to enable loading of other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe operation of HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with regulations
• Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Loading vehicles/securing loads correctly
• Following all Health & Safety procedures
