Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Avonmouth, Bristol team. This permanent, full-time role offers competitive pay, regular shift patterns and strong company benefits.

Responsibilities include refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to retail stores, up to 15 drops per shift, use of tail lifts and cages, with immediate starts after assessment and induction. Shifts Wed-Sun or Fri-Tue with varying start times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of WTD and EU Drivers’ Hours Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safe, compliant driving at all times.
• Vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Vehicle preparation and refuelling.
• Delivering goods efficiently and on schedule.
• Providing excellent customer service.

HGV Class 1 Driver – Avonmouth (Bristol)

Permanent Full-Time Opportunities Available

We are currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role with competitive pay rates, regular shift patterns, and great company benefits.

About the Role

• Refrigerated multi-drop deliveries to retail stores and shops
• Up to 15 drops per shift
• Use of tail lifts and cages
• Immediate starts available following a successful assessment and induction

Shift Patterns Available:

• Wednesday – Sunday (Start times between 13:00 – 16:00)
• Friday – Tuesday (Start times between 02:00 – 04:00)

Pay Rates

Days

• Monday – Friday: £17.30 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £19.46 per hour
• Saturday: £19.46 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.95 per hour

Nights

• Monday – Friday: £19.77 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £21.92 per hour
• Saturday: £21.92 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £28.41 per hour

Only 30 minutes break deducted per shift

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of WTD and EU Drivers’ Hours Regulations
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
• Willingness to work weekends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
