Job summary

People Solutions is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver based in Leeds for day shifts. The role involves class 1 wagon and drag deliveries, safe operation of C+E vehicles, and completing pre/post-journey inspections.

The position offers £20 per hour, weekly pay, ongoing work, and training. Immediate starts available with on-site canteen and employee well-being programme.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence.
• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving C+E vehicles, Must have draw bar experience.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes).
• Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping.
• Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

HGV Class 1 Driver – Draw Bar - Leeds

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Leeds

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for consistent day-shift work.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday (weekend work available)
• PM starts between 18:00 – 22:00

Rates of Pay: £20.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
