Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for a role based at Barlborough, UK, with immediate start and a competitive pay rate. You will run 2 hub drops each night, ensuring on-time arrivals and reporting any delays.

No offloading required; you will strap and secure loads and make 1–3 nationwide drops per shift. This is a permanent, temp-to-perm position with 11 hours per day guaranteed. Working hours are 17:00–20:00 starts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience.
• Over 23 years of age.
• Maximum 3 penalty points on licence.
• Own transport and able to travel to Barlborough.
• Good communication skills.
• CPC and Digi card.
• Good knowledge of tachograph rules.
• Able to download and use an App for the client.
• Knowledge of vehicle defect checks and defect reports.

Responsibilities

• Do 2 hub runs each night with on-time delivery and report delays.
• No offloading required by the driver.
• Secure and strap loads before delivery.
• 1–3 drops per night with nationwide deliveries.
• Temp to perm role; 11 hours per day guaranteed.

For this position we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for a company based at Barlborough.

You will be doing 2 hub runs each night, ensuring that your times are met, and any delays or issues reported.
You will not have to offload yourdelf.

You will be responsible for the strapping/securing of the load.

1 to 3 drops per night, and deliveries are nationwide.

Duration: These are temp to perm roles.Once permanent 11 hours per day guaranteed

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: This position pays £17 per hour for all hours worked.We do have Umbrella options available too.WE DO NOT ACCEPT MAX20 VISA OR SPONSORSHIPS

Working Hours: Monday to Friday.Starts between 1700 and 200010-11 hours per nightMinimum 8 hours assured

Experience & Qualifications
