Interaction Recruitment PLC in Rugby is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing trunking work at DIRFT. This role involves depot-to-depot trunking with no hand balling and offers day, early, and dawn shifts.

We’re targeting drivers based in Rugby, Daventry, Northampton and nearby areas who want regular driving work, weekly pay, and guaranteed hours. You will operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and perform daily safety checks while adhering to tachograph regulations.

Formación

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing opportunities with a busy transport and distribution operation based near Rugby, at DIRFT (NN6 7HQ).

If you're looking for regular driving work, competitive hourly rates and straightforward depot-to-depot trunking, this could be the ideal opportunity.

With a choice of early morning and daytime shifts, we're keen to hear from drivers based in Rugby, Daventry, Northampton and the surrounding areas.

Excellent Hourly Rates

• Day shifts – £21.44 per hour

• Early morning shifts – £21.71–£21.99 per hour

• Dawn shifts – £22.48 per hour

All rates are PAYE and depend on the shift worked.

The Role

You'll be completing scheduled HGV Class 1 trunking runs between distribution sites, ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.

This is predominantly driving-focused work, with no manual loading or unloading.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles

• Completing daily vehicle safety checks

• Following scheduled routes and transport procedures

• Complying with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations

• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism

What You'll Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, held for at least 12 months

• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• No more than 6 penalty points

• Ability to complete the required vetting and DBS checks
