Job summary

Barker Ross Group is recruiting HGV/LGV C+E Class 1 drivers for Royal Mail in Derby (EMA). The role involves trunking, box work and use of double deck trailers, with weekend availability and shifts often starting in the afternoon or evening.

Applicants must have at least 12 months of Class 1 experience, a clean licence (no more than 3 points, no IN10/DR10/CD endorsements), and must pass an enhanced CRB check plus an on-site assessment before starting. Holiday pay is included as part of rates.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence required.
• CRB enhanced check required prior to starting.
• Shifts include afternoon/evening, weekend availability preferred.
• No more than 3 points on licence; no IN10, DR10 or CD endorsements.
• On-site assessment will be conducted for all drivers.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV/LGV Class 1 for Royal Mail.
• Trunking with box work and occasional double deck trailers.
• Attend weekly bookings and meet minimum daily hours.
