Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail in Motherwell is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 drivers (C+E) to support trunking between Royal Mail depots. Up to £24.57 p/h, temporary/ongoing through 2026. Morning, evening and weekend shifts available.

You will join a trusted national brand with ongoing work and onsite support at local depots. Requirements include a valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph card, 180+ days of recent Class 1 driving, a maximum of 6 points, and ability to pass vetting checks.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 2+ years.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card up to date.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving in the last 2 years.
• Licence with max 6 points.
• Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail depots.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
