Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers for Royal Mail in Derby. Trunking work with box and double-deck trailers, little handball and 12 months experience required.

Shifts are mainly afternoon and evening, weekends may be required. You must pass an enhanced CRB check and site assessment. No IN10/DR10/CD endorsements, and a maximum of 3 points. Weekly bookings and pay; continuous work through mid-January with guaranteed minimum daily hours.

Qualifications

• 12 months driving experience in HGV/Class 1.
• No more than 3 points on licence.
• No IN10, DR10 or CD endorsements.
• Able to pass enhanced CRB check and on-site assessment.
• Trunking, box work and double-deck trailers familiarity.
• Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 HGV for trunking with minimal handball.
• Work with box and double-deck trailers.
• Shifts mainly afternoon/evening; weekend work may be required.
• Maintain safety and comply with driving regulations.
