Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting for HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to support nationwide trunking. Expect planned routes, morning/evening/weekend shifts, and a professional service across national sites.

Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 licence (1+ year), CPC and Digital Tachograph, with up to 6 points and the ability to pass vetting and DBS checks. Onsite Pertemps support, competitive hourly rates and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence held for 1+ years.
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots.
• No handballing — organised, planned routes.
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available.
• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold top-tier safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism on every run.
