Job summary

JT Recruit is recruiting double deck trained HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client in Eastwood. Shifts run from 15:00 to 20:00 with 10–12 hour days, seven days a week including weekends. Work involves trunking with no multidrop and handball duties; modern vehicles and latest tech are used.

Long-term ongoing role for reliable drivers with CPC & Tachograph Card. Applicants must have a Full UK Licence, CPC & Tachograph Card and up to six penalty points for minor offences.

Qualifications

• Full UK Licence, CPC & Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences.
• Good knowledge of Transport Legislation and Tachographs.
• Reliable, punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Runs operate between 15:00 – 20:00 (start times to suit drivers).
• Shifts length between 10 and 12 hours.
• Shifts run 7 days a week, including weekends.
• Trunking work with no multidrop.
• Handball: ability to push cages down the trailer.
• Long-term ongoing work.
