Job summary

Acorn Recruitment is urgently recruiting for HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Drivers to join a busy trunking operation in Normanton. This role offers regular weekday work with start times of 3am or 5pm, Monday to Friday and no weekend shifts in a modern, well‑maintained fleet.

Responsibilities include trunking with double‑deck trailers, depot‑to‑depot runs, accurate paperwork, and maintaining a clean, safe vehicle. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Digi Tacho card are required; double‑deck trailer

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence and CPC card.
• Digi Tacho card required.
• Experience with double-deck trailers preferred.
• Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Carry out trunking work using double-deck trailers.
• Complete depot-to-depot runs with no manual handling.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe and presentable vehicle.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
