Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Leicester area for multiple HGV Class 1 drivers. Shifts run Monday to Sunday with afternoons and nights, and potential days; start times are flexible. Pay rates are £18.04 per hour PAYE (6am-10pm) and £18.79 per hour PAYE (10pm-6am).

Location is Leicester, LE4. Role is ad-hoc/temp/ongoing with trunking duties and a requirement for a full UK licence (Class 1/C&E), valid DCPC and tachograph card, and 6 months experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (C&E).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
